Ali Jaber
Ali Jaber is a Qur’ān reciter from Saudi Arabia. He was born Ali ʿAbdullāh Jaber al-Suwaydī in Jeddah in 1373 AH (1953 CE). He rose to prominence by leading the prayer at the Grand Mosque (Al-Ḥaram) in Mecca between 1401 AH and 1409 AH. He also taught Comparative Fiqh in the Department of Islamic Studies at the University of Jeddah.
